Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Nursery Deputy Area Manager to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this pivotal leadership role, you will support the overall management of multiple nursery settings within your designated area, ensuring high-quality childcare, compliance with regulations, and a nurturing environment for children. Responsibilities
- Assist the Nursery Area Manager in overseeing daily operations across multiple nursery locations within your designated area.
- Support nursery managers and staff to deliver exceptional childcare aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Lead by example in promoting a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children and staff alike.
- Ensure all nurseries comply with relevant legislation, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Foster strong communication channels between nurseries, parents, local authorities, and external partners.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of nursery staff to build motivated and competent teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance nursery services, staff development, and child outcomes.
Experience
- Proven management or leadership experience within early childhood education or childcare settings.
- Extensive experience working directly with children in nurseries or similar environments.
- Strong understanding of childcare regulations, health & safety protocols, and early childhood development principles.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively liaise with staff, parents, and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams with enthusiasm, empathy, and clarity.
- Valid driving license is preferred for traveling between nursery locations efficiently.
- Must hold a level 3 qualification
