Door Supervisor (Community Safety Patrol Officer)

Salary: £15+/hour
Hours: 45 hours/week, predominantly late shifts (11:30am–2:30am), 5-day rota with weekend availability required

You’ll be part of a growing team of uniformed Patrol Officers, working alongside local authorities and the police to prevent crime, tackle anti-social behaviour, and support public safety in real time. We provide full training, so if you're motivated and committed, we’ll help you succeed.
What You'll Do:
- Patrol parks, estates, town centres, and night-time economy areas on foot and by vehicle
- Provide visible reassurance, engage with the public, and offer safety support
- Address anti-social behaviour, gather intelligence, and carry out enforcement where needed
- Support local authorities, police, and community services through joint operations
- Write clear, accurate reports and represent Parkguard at relevant meetings when required
What You’ll Need:
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Close Protection Licence
- Full UK driving licence (manual or automatic) and access to a vehicle
- Flexibility to work unsocial hours, including evenings and weekends
- Excellent communication in spoken and written English
- Computer literacy for report writing and email communication
- A solid understanding of criminal law or willingness to learn relevant legislation
- Physical fitness and the ability to remain alert and active on patrol
- A calm, professional, and compassionate approach to working with the public

Full, in-person training is provided at our head office in Wheathampstead, Hertfordshire.
All successful candidates must pass enhanced Police vetting as this role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
