We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Delivery Driver with their own van to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently across multiple locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and customer service, looking to work in a dynamic environment. The position requires a valid driver’s licence, valid insurance, experience in multi drop deliveries within designated routes.
Van requirements are white in colour, the van must also needs to be in good condition.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily pre-trip inspections of your own van to ensure safety and compliance with road regulations.
- Safely load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly for transit.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS or other route planning tools to complete multiple deliveries within scheduled timeframes.
- Communicate effectively with clients upon delivery, providing excellent customer service and addressing any queries professionally.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and health & safety regulations during transit.
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as stock organisation and heavy lifting when required.
- Report any vehicle issues or delivery discrepancies promptly to management.
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with multi-drop routes.
- Valid driver’s licence suitable for commercial driving, with a clean driving record.
- Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling goods or equipment.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Familiarity with driving regulations and safety procedures relevant to commercial vehicles. This role is ideal for organised individuals who enjoy driving, have excellent communication skills, and take pride in delivering outstanding service efficiently and safely.
