Southern Tyreco Limited is a family-run company established for over 60 years. Predominantly based in the South East of England, we operate a variety of wholesale, retail, and commercial depots throughout the region. We are currently looking for a Fast Fit Technician/Tyre Fitter to join our team in Tonbridge.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have several years’ experience working as a mechanic and will demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude while completing work efficiently and to a high standard.
You will be responsible for carrying out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards, including:
Timing belts ,Clutches ,Exhaust systems, Suspension and steering components, Tyres and related repairs
The role will also involve liaising directly with depot management and road testing vehicles where required.
Training & Development
For the right candidate, there are opportunities for further training and qualifications, including:
Electric Vehicle (EV) qualifications
Ongoing technical development
Requirements:
Several years’ mechanical experience essential Full UK driving licence required Strong diagnostic and repair skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional and reliable approach to work
