Join CITB as a Distribution, Warehouse & Postroom Operative and play a vital role in ensuring mail, parcels, deliveries and internal documents are received, processed and distributed accurately across the organisation. Working as part of the Estates team, you'll provide a reliable, customer-focused service while maintaining high standards of security, efficiency and professionalism.
What you'll do

Receive, sort, process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, parcels and deliveries.

Arrange courier services and process recorded, registered and special delivery items.

Operate franking, postage, scanning and mail tracking systems, maintaining accurate records.

Provide excellent customer service, responding to enquiries and resolving routine issues.

Assist with stock control and ordering of postal and packaging supplies.

Handle confidential information securely and in line with data protection requirements.

Support the wider Estates team and contribute to continuous service improvements.

Follow health and safety procedures, including manual handling and secure storage of deliveries.
What you'll bring

GCSEs (or equivalent).

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines.

Good digital skills, including Microsoft Office, printers and scanners.

A valid UK driving licence.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Accurate administration and record-keeping abilities.

Ability to safely carry out manual handling tasks.
Desirable:
-
Warehouse, distribution or logistics experience.
-
Telehandler CPCS qualification, or willingness to achieve this within six months.

Understanding of health, safety and environmental standards.
