Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our busy hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation of kitchenware, ensuring a smooth flow of operations in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within the culinary and hospitality sectors while contributing to a welcoming dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and sanitise dishes, cutlery, glassware, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning equipment and methods.
- Ensure all kitchenware is returned to designated storage areas in an organised manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, work surfaces, and sinks.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards within the kitchen environment.
- Support the team with other general cleaning duties to ensure the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Skills
- Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food service and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning new skills within the hospitality sector.
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
