Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Bar Staff member to join our family run pub. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food and beverage service, demonstrate excellent time management skills, and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role will involve sole charge at less busy times & locking of premises will be required. References & up to date crb certificate will be required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages with professionalism and efficiency
- Ensure all drinks are prepared in accordance with food safety standards and company policies
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests courteously and promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system effectively
- Monitor guest behaviour to ensure compliance with licensing laws and responsible service of alcohol
Experience
- Proven experience working in a hospitality environment, particularly within a bar or restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices
- Strong serving skills combined with excellent communication abilities
- Competent in basic maths for handling cash and calculating bills
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently during high-pressure situations
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is advantageous but not essential
- A friendly, professional demeanour with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction

Pay: £12.50-£15.00 per hour
