Sous Chef x3 — Cotswolds Gastropub
Salary: £31,000 – £35,000 (DOE)
Red Moon Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a well-regarded gastropub in the Cheltenham area, looking for three Sous Chefs to join their kitchen team. This is a genuine opportunity to grow — our client wants chefs who are hungry to develop new dishes and push the menu forward, working closely alongside the Head Chef rather than just executing a set list.
The role:
- Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations and service
- Contribute to and help develop new dishes and seasonal menu ideas
- Help maintain food quality, consistency, and kitchen standards
- Support junior chefs and help run a smooth, well-organised section
What we’re looking for:
- At least one year’s experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
- A creative streak — someone who wants a voice in the menu, not just a station
- A team player who thrives under pressure during service
- Genuine ambition — clear career progression on offer for the right people
