Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our food service team at Ryanair. Duties:
- Serve meals and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner, demonstrating excellent guest services skills
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and serving areas, adhering to food safety regulations at all times
- Support delivery drivers with the transportation of catering orders when needed
- Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about menu options or event details
- Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth operation during service periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or catering environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards
- Experience as a delivery driver or familiarity with delivery logistics is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic cooking skills and experience with meal preparation preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service orientation
- Kitchen or culinary experience from hotels or restaurants is advantageous
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as required
