Aerotron is seeking a motivated Quality & Compliance Officer to join our team at our London Gatwick facility. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop within a Quality function, with structured training, mentoring and a clear progression pathway.
Working closely with the Quality team and departments across the business, you will play a key role in supporting our Quality Management System and ensuring we continue to meet the high standards expected by our customers and regulatory bodies.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Quality & Compliance Officer, you will:
- Maintain employee training records and competency matrices.
- Coordinate mandatory training and monitor qualification expiry dates.
- Administer the Approved Supplier Register and supplier approval documentation.
- Complete customer quality questionnaires and support customer approval activities.
- Maintain controlled quality documentation and company records.
- Carry out departmental compliance audits against company procedures.
- Support internal and external quality audits.
- Monitor corrective actions and assist with Non-Conformance (NCR) administration.
- Produce quality reports and maintain accurate records.
- Work collaboratively with managers and colleagues to support compliance and continuous improvement across the business.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
Essential
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Word).
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- The confidence to communicate with colleagues across all areas of the business.
Desirable
- Experience in an administrative role.
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing or aerospace.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 or AS9100).
- Experience maintaining training records or controlled documentation.
- Exposure to supplier approvals or customer quality documentation.
- Experience supporting audits or compliance activities.
Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
