Responsibilities as our Credit Controller will include:
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure payments are received on time.
- Chase overdue invoices by phone and email and resolve payment queries.
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal departments.
- Investigate and resolve disputes, invoicing issues and account queries.
- Allocate payments and maintain accurate account records.
- Review credit limits and escalate potential risks.
- Carry out all collection activities professionally and in line with company procedures.
- Sales ledger and general administration
What we’re looking for in our Credit Controller :
- Credit Control experience is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Positive, professional and resilient approach.
- Well organised and self-motivated.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Adaptable, with a willingness to embrace change.
- IT literate, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
