Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Duty Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment.
Your day could include setting up or clearing down conference rooms, checking tickets for people going to the cinema, cleaning the cinema after a screening, doing H& S checks, serving customers in the café, assisting with the washing up, checking emails and phone messages, ironing the staff aprons, cleaning the building at the end of the day whilst the last cinema screening is on, being a fire warden or anything else you can think of that would need to be done to make sure the building runs smoothly. You would at times be the most senior person in the building and you would also at times be lone working.
The ideal candidate will possess good leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest services. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the building run smoothly, maintaining high standards of hospitality, and addressing any issues that may arise during your shift.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations and staff to ensure efficient service delivery
- Serves in the cafe and kitchen on a daily bases as required
- Responsible for cash on site and ensures its security
- Undertake the daily cleaning of the building and ensures safety standards are maintained
- Lead and motivate team members
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the hospitality sector
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with developing new I.T skills to learn cinema relevant programs /software and using social media.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while resolving conflicts or issues
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Able to work flexible hours to reflect the nature of the post.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.95 per hour
