Overview
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our Iveco service team. The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while managing vehicle repairs and maintenance. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your customer service skills and mechanical knowledge in a dynamic environment. The Service Advisor will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction & smooth efficient running of our workshop.
Hours - 8am-6pm Monday thru Friday. Every other Saturday 8am-12pm.
Pay - £34k-£38k Depending on experience + Bonus.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and establish a professional rapport to understand their vehicle concerns
- Create Job cards
- Explain recommended repairs and carry out quotations for repairs.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and services
- Repair invoicing, process payments, and issue receipts with precision
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, vehicle information, and service history
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage future business
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service within the automotive industry or related fields is preferred
- Able to work in a team
- Mechanical knowledge or background is highly advantageous for understanding vehicle issues and repair processes
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information in an understandable manner
- Organised, professional, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- A valid driving licence is desirable but not essential
