Reconnect Scotland CIC is recruiting a motivated, compassionate and proactive IPS Employment Practitioner to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a pioneering service supporting people within HMP Kilmarnock and following their release into the community. You will work closely with individuals to help them identify their strengths and employment goals, overcome barriers, and secure and sustain meaningful paid employment.
Job details
- Salary: £30,000 per annum
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- Contract: Funded until July 2029
- Locations: HMP Kilmarnock, Reconnect Community Hub and community locations
- Full IPS training, induction and ongoing support will be provided
Previous experience of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) or working within a prison environment would be welcomed but is not essential.
We would be particularly interested in hearing from applicants with transferable skills or experience in areas such as:
- Employability
- Criminal justice
- Recovery or addiction support
- Mental health
- Housing
- Social care or community support
- Recruitment or sales
- Employer engagement
Relevant lived experience is also welcomed and valued.
