Job Title: Team Member
Location:SKVP Outlet
Main Purpose:To deliver high standards of customer service, promote the SKVP brand & products, maximise sales whilst maintaining high levels of hygiene and safety.
Report To: Team Leader
Responsible For: Trainees as required by the demands of the business.
Operations:Cleaning & Hygiene: Follow cleaning checklists to maintain the hygiene and cleanliness of the outlet, including floors, countertops, restrooms, kitchenettes, and common areas.
Clean and disinfect utensils, crockery, and kitchen appliances.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, empty trash, and ensure disposal areas are clean.
Assist in maintaining equipment and premises in a hygienic condition, ensuring all health and safety policies are followed.
Customer Service & Sales: Greet and serve customers, promoting SKVP products and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Maximise sales by upselling products and responding to customer queries and complaints in a professional manner.
Operate tills, handle cash accurately, and maintain records of transactions.
Food Preparation & Handling: Assist in preparing food and beverages to SKVP standards, ensuring the correct presentation.
Check and record food temperatures in line with Food Hygiene Regulations.
Complete stock rotation and ensure all food displays are aligned with company standards.
Skills & Competencies: Customer-Oriented: Ability to handle customer service and complaints effectively, maintaining a professional demeanour.
Detail-Oriented: Ensure all cleaning and food handling tasks meet safety and hygiene standards.
Teamwork: Capable of working in a team environment, with a willingness to support colleagues across different tasks.
Adaptability: Flexible in handling various responsibilities, from cleaning to customer service and food preparation.
Work Environment: The role involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Work may occur in both cold and hot environments, such as freezers or kitchens.
Customer Relations:To act at all times within the guidelines set out in the SKVP Code of Conduct
Personnel Appearance: To ensure at all times that your standards of appearance are in line with the SKVP Grooming and Personnel Hygiene Standards
Legislation:To comply with all relevant legislation that applies to the SKVP business and as detailed in company policies, procedures, and training sessions
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Experience in food preparation and kitchen operations
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and upselling
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus
- Culinary experience is beneficial for enhancing service quality
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
