Job Overview
We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join our busy food manufacturing team producing sauces, mustards, horseradish and spice‑based products. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced production environment, ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and takes pride in delivering quality products for high end customers.
This role is physically demanding and requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work to recipes and production targets.
Shift Pattern: AM shift pattern: 7am-3.30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Weighing and preparing ingredients accurately in line with set recipes
- Mixing and cooking sauces and mustards according to production plans
- Handling allergens, herbs, spices, and other raw ingredients
- Manual handling of ingredients, including lifting 10–20 kg buckets
- Operating production equipment and machinery
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and good housekeeping
- Working efficiently to meet daily production targets
- Following all health & safety and quality procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to carry out physical tasks throughout the shift
- Comfortable with manual handling (10–20 kg) on a regular basis
- Experience in food production or manufacturing is desirable, but not limited
- Good attention to detail, especially when weighing and following recipes
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, production‑driven environment
