We are seeking an Employability Trainer/Assessor/Coach to deliver employability programmes that help learners overcome barriers, develop confidence, and progress into sustainable employment or further education. You will create a positive learning environment, support skill development, and connect learners with opportunities in the local labour market.
This hands-on role requires creativity, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to helping people succeed through education and employability support.
Your Role
As a Band 4 Employability Trainer / Assessor / Coach, you will:
Deliver engaging employability training and workshops
Support learners with CV writing, interview skills, and job readiness
Work with individuals facing barriers to employment
Monitor progress and provide tailored guidance
Collaborate with employers and colleagues to create opportunities

Main Duties:
Manage the successful learner journey of assigned individuals to ensure they complete their programme of learning on time.
Deliver high quality training utilising a range of methods (e.g. face-to-face on site, or via Teams).
Deliver engaging, learner-centred training that reflects the principles of adult education, including respect for learners’ experiences, self-direction, and practical application
Use a variety of inclusive teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and abilities.
Collaborate to deliver innovative training solutions, helping the achievement of team performance targets and quality standards
Continuously review learner progress and adapt delivery to ensure accessible, differentiated learning for adults with varying levels of confidence, literacy, and digital skills.
Create a supportive and empowering learning environment that builds adult learners’ confidence, resilience, and motivation
