Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Labourer to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in supporting construction, maintenance, and site development activities, ensuring smooth operations and safety standards are upheld. As a Labourer, you will work closely with project managers and supervisors to assist in various tasks that contribute to the successful completion of projects. Your energy, reliability, and attention to detail will help drive our projects forward efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including loading, unloading, and organizing materials and tools
- Support skilled tradespeople by providing necessary equipment and supplies promptly
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and disposing of waste properly
- Operate basic machinery or tools under supervision, following all safety guidelines
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Conduct routine inspections of the work area to identify potential hazards or issues
- Support management in coordinating logistics and ensuring materials are available when needed
Experience
- Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or general labouring roles is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with site safety procedures and protocols is advantageous
- Supervising experience or management skills are a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities on-site
- Ability to operate basic tools and machinery safely and effectively
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions
