Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to lead our distribution operations with energy and precision. Responsibilities
- Supervise all warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Lead and motivate warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Manage warehouse processes using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems to optimize workflow and inventory control.
- Oversee transportation management systems (TMS) to coordinate freight movement, track shipments, and improve delivery timelines.
- Monitor profit & loss statements related to warehouse operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve overall profitability.
- Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline workflows through Lean or other methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies while maintaining a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to coordinate outsourced services and optimize supply chain logistics.
- Oversee shipping & receiving activities, ensuring timely dispatches and accurate documentation for all inbound and outbound shipments.
- Utilize forklift equipment safely for material handling while maintaining warehouse safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in a warehouse or logistics environment with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, logistics operations, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms for inventory control and order processing.
- Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) for freight planning and execution.
- Familiarity with 3PL providers, shipping & receiving procedures, and warehouse safety standards.
- Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment with proper certification preferred.
- Ability to analyze profit & loss data to support financial decision-making within warehouse operations.
- Commitment to process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and reduce costs across the supply chain.
