Job Description
HGV Class 2 (18 Tonne) Driver – Birmingham – £14.80 per hour
We are currently looking for reliable and professional HGV Class 2 (18 Tonne) Drivers to join our team based at our Birmingham depot.
Various shift patterns are available, typically Monday to Friday. Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply and will be considered following a driving assessment.
The Role
- Drive 18 tonne HGV Class 2 vehicles on general haulage and pallet network work.
- Complete deliveries and collections across Birmingham, the West Midlands, and nationwide.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete all required paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with Drivers' Hours Regulations and the Working Time Directive (WTD).
- Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding deliveries and collections.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
- Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply (full assessment provided).
