Key Responsibilities
- Provide emotional support and encouragement, helping individuals build confidence and maintain their wellbeing.
- Assist with personal care, medication support, meal preparation, and daily living activities while promoting independence.
- Encourage participation in social, recreational, and community activities to reduce isolation and improve quality of life.
- Build positive, trusting relationships through patience, empathy, and effective communication.
- Observe, monitor, and accurately record changes in health, behaviour, and wellbeing, reporting any concerns promptly.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred care plans.
- Support individuals in achieving their personal goals while respecting their dignity, privacy, and individual preferences.
- Maintain a safe environment by following safeguarding procedures, health and safety regulations, infection control measures, and organisational policies at all times.
Skills and Qualities
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults in residential, supported living, or community settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Pay: £25,420.00-£30,200.00 per year
