Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Golf Professional to join our team at a prestigious golf club. Duties
- Assist the Head Golf Professional in delivering coaching sessions and golf lessons to players of all skill levels
- Organise and run group clinics, individual coaching, and practice sessions
- Support the management of tee times, bookings, and member enquiries with professionalism and efficiency
- Help maintain the organisation of golf equipment, including clubs, balls, and training aids
- Contribute to the organisation of golf events, tournaments, and club competitions
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with members and visitors in a friendly manner
- Assist with retail sales of golf merchandise and equipment as required
- Support daily course maintenance activities to ensure optimal playing conditions
Experience
- Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching is highly desirable
- A strong interest in golf with a good understanding of the game’s rules and etiquette
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and instruct players of varying abilities
- Experience working in customer service or hospitality environments is advantageous
- A recognised qualification or certification in golf coaching or sports instruction is preferred but not essential; relevant training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: £19,999.00-£30,000.00 per year
