About the Role:
We are a popular family run artisan bakery in Ealing, West London and we are looking for a full-time sales assistant. This is a permanent position, five days a week, including Saturdays. Shifts are 9am to 5:30pm during the week and 7am to 4:30pm on Saturdays.
What you’ll do
- Serve customers with warmth, knowledge, and enthusiasm.
- Ensure the shop floor, display counter and shelves are clean and fully stocked.
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently using the till system.
- Share product knowledge with customers.
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards across the sales and production areas.
- Contribute to a positive, welcoming atmosphere in the shop.
What we’re looking for
- Previous retail or hospitality customer service experience.
- Warm, friendly and engaging with customers.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Someone proactive who can use their own initiative and is calm under pressure.
- Must be available for early starts and to work on Saturdays.
