Overview:
We are currently seeking a full time warehouse worker to join our team in a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling various warehouse tasks and work with a safety first, can-do attitude. 30-40 hours during day time only, no weekends and no nights.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual handling duties to move inventory within the warehouse.
- Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage orders.
- Operate forklifts to load and unload goods from lorries (desired not essential)
- Execute picking and packing tasks accurately according to order specifications.
- Handle materials with care to prevent damage or loss during storage or transportation.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a warehouse setting, demonstrating proficiency in warehouse operations.
- Ability to lift light and some heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Mechanical knowledge to operate machinery such as forklifts effectively (desirable not essential)
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems for inventory control and order fulfilment.
- Strong skills in picking, packing, and materials handling.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory records.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
