The Role
This is a senior, part-time Aesthetic Doctor or Nurse Prescriber role. The successful candidate will deliver advanced injectable aesthetic treatments while also providing full clinical governance, prescribing oversight, and medical leadership across the non-surgical portfolio.
The role combines hands-on clinical work with strategic oversight, ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, and excellence in aesthetic outcomes within a high-end environment.
Clinical & Injectable Practice
- Assess, consent, prescribe, and deliver advanced aesthetic treatments independently
- Perform injectables including botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, and biostimulators
- Manage facial rejuvenation, contouring, volumisation, and complications
- Deliver a premium, high-quality patient experience
Governance
- Act as Medical Director and provide clinical oversight of practitioners
- Develop and approve SOPs, clinical protocols, and prescribing standards
- Oversee incident reporting, escalation pathways, and clinical audits
- Ensure compliance with documentation, infection control, and governance standards
Energy-Based Device Oversight
- Provide medical governance for laser, RF, IPL, and microneedling treatments
- Approve treatment protocols and ensure appropriate delegation
- Oversee operator competency, training, and safety screening
- Contribute to audits and quality assurance processes
Candidate Requirements
Essential
- GMC-registered doctor with full UK licence or UK-registered nurse prescriber
- Proven experience with botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, and complication management
- Strong clinical judgement, patient assessment skills, and compliance with UK regulatory standards
- Able to work independently as a self-employed consultant
- Holds appropriate professional indemnity insurance for aesthetics and prescribing
Desirable
- Level 7 qualification in Aesthetic Medicine
- Background in cosmetic dermatology, plastic surgery, or GP aesthetics
- Advanced training in complication management or ultrasound-guided filler techniques
- Experience with energy-based devices (laser, RF, IPL, microneedling)
