We're looking for an experienced and motivated Refrigeration Engineer to join our growing mobile engineering team. This is a hands-on role suited to an engineer who takes pride in delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service across a variety of commercial sites. This opportunity would suit an engineer looking to join a reputable and growing business where they can develop their career.
Key Responsibilities:
❄ Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial refrigeration equipment
❄ Diagnosing faults and carrying out reactive breakdown repairs efficiently
❄ Completing refrigeration installations, upgrades, and commissioning work
❄ Carrying out system performance checks and ensuring compliance with current regulations
❄ Working across a variety of commercial sites, including restaurants, retail units, leisure facilities, and educational establishments
❄ Using the Cafty system to manage job sheets, reports, and job documentation
❄ Delivering excellent customer service while representing CSS Environmental professionally on site
What we're looking for:
✔ F-Gas Certification
✔ City & Guilds 2079 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Level 2 (or equivalent)
✔ Full UK Driving Licence
✔ Experience working on commercial refrigeration systems
✔ Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Positive, proactive attitude
✔ Willingness to participate in the callout rota
Desirable:
➕ Apprenticeship-trained background
➕ Experience working across multiple manufacturers and refrigeration system types
