Anker Stuy Coatings UK is looking for a practical, reliable and motivated person to join our production team.
This is an entry-level position with the opportunity to develop into a broader and more specialised role. You will initially support our production and warehouse activities while learning about professional paint and coating products.
As your knowledge and skills develop, the role could expand into areas including, colour matching, stock ordering, purchasing and wider production responsibilities. Increased knowledge and responsibility will provide opportunities for pay progression.
You will work as part of a small, dynamic team and will be trusted to organise and manage your daily workload. Accuracy, attention to detail and a willingness to learn are essential.
Previous warehouse, use of a forklift truck, production or paint experience would be beneficial, although training will be given. Experience operating any type of tinting, dosing, mixing or dispensing machinery would be a significant advantage, although again, full training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the production and tinting of paint and coating products
- Learning to operate tinting, mixing and production equipment safely
- Preparing, picking and moving materials, stock and customer orders
- Receiving and organising incoming goods
- Completing basic product and quality checks
- Maintaining accurate production and stock records
- Planning and prioritising your daily workload
- Keeping the production and warehouse areas clean, safe and organised
- Following health and safety, chemical-handling and quality procedures
- Supporting other members of the team when required
Development opportunities
