Peak Sunbed Home Hire LTD are looking for an experienced part-time delivery driver to join our team.
The role involves delivering and collecting sunbeds from customers’ homes across Staffordshire, Cheshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. You will be driving a company van, following planned routes, loading and unloading sunbeds, and providing a polite, professional service to customers.
This is a physical role, so applicants must be fit and confident with lifting, carrying and manoeuvring equipment safely in domestic properties.
This role would suit someone looking for regular part-time work, with the opportunity for extra hours during busy periods, staff holidays and sickness cover.
Main duties include:
- Delivering and collecting sunbeds from domestic properties
- Loading and unloading the van safely
- Following scheduled routes and keeping to delivery/collection plans
- Driving safely and responsibly within the speed limit
- Carrying out basic vehicle safety checks before leaving the depot
- Keeping the van clean, tidy and fuelled
- Helping in the warehouse when not out delivering
- Being polite, helpful and professional with customers
- Wearing company uniform and maintaining a presentable appearance
- Occasionally working extra hours when required
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a full UK driving licence
- Have experience driving vans
- Be physically fit and able to lift and manoeuvre sunbeds
- Be punctual, reliable and well organised
- Be polite, friendly and customer-focused
- Be able to work well alone and as part of a team
- Be flexible with working days and occasional overtime
- Have no objection to a Disclosure check
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence required
- Van driving experience preferred
- Delivery driver experience preferred
- Clean driving licence preferred
- Must be physically fit due to the nature of the work
