The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Complex Carer to support a client in Esher with epilepsy, frequent seizures, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviours.
You must have strong, hands-on experience managing seizures and be confident in delivering safe, calm, and effective care during emergency situations.
Both day and night shifts are available, with an immediate start for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, person-centred care in the client’s home.
- Manage and respond to seizures confidently and safely.
- Administer complex medications as per care plan.
- Support clients with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours.
- Carry out manual handling safely and accurately.
- Keep detailed care notes and communicate effectively with the wider team.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with clients who have epilepsy and seizures (essential).
- Training and experience in:
- Seizure & Epilepsy Management
- Manual Handling
- Learning Disabilities & Challenging Behaviour
- Complex Medication Administration
- Calm, confident, and compassionate under pressure.
- Right to work in the UK.
