Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including training and mentoring junior team members.
- Prepare high-quality food items in line with established recipes and presentation standards.
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring efficiency and consistency across all dishes.
- Maintain strict compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist in developing new menus, specials, and innovative culinary concepts to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste.
- Support serving staff during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and report any faults or repairs needed promptly.

- Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment.
- Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques.

Pay: £24,678.38-£33,000.00 per year
