Role Summary:
Collaboratingwithin the Workplace team, the Experience Host is to embody and deliver our 5-starexperience with energy, passion and presence to all staff & guests onsite. Thisimportant position sets the tone of the flow of the reception experience bycreating the first human touchpoint impression with consistent, joyous andcourteous moments, beingresponsible to support and coordinate activities related to delivery ofworkplace experience services for clients, where offered, includingadministrative support. Services may be directly performed by the company, orthird-party service providers in collaboration with this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Providean exceptional guest experience to all colleagues and guests. A purposefulpersonalisation when serving guests is where the magic happens.
Havetotal ownership of the reception foyer and the surroundings areas to ensure thebest first impression and work experience.
Assiststhe Workplace Experience Team and CBRE community with general administrativesupport including all mail services, event management, desk booking, lockermanagement etc. Requests building and/or equipment services as needed.
Assistswith the CBRE community on-boarding process, including new employeeorientation, training, equipment and software ordering – workflow assistanceand welcoming procedures and first day orientation management.
Providesadministrative support including meeting coordination, events, office andworkplace experience equipment care, and supply management.
Respondsto community requests and complaints regarding Workplace Experience services.
Maintainsrelationships with vendors that provide services and goods to the office. Ensuresall vendors used have current proof of insurance and contractual documentationin place, per requirements.
Ensuresafety standards are met by those delivery workplace experience services;whether CBRE employees or third-party service providers.
Managesfacilities and office requests, follow up on all request upon completion andescalate recurring issues.
Manageoffice and community stock and ensure system is in place to ensure optimumlevels.
Experience Required:
CommunicationSkills - Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, shortcorrespondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond tocommon inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/orlarge groups of employees.
FinancialKnowledge - Requires basic knowledge of financial terms andprinciples.
Strategicand Interpersonal Skills - Ability to solve problems and deal with avariety of options in complex situations.
ITSkills - Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite products such asWord, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook etc. Comfortable with andembracing of new technologies and digital tools, such as Apps, databases, workorder management, social networking, cloud technologies, handheld mobiletechnologies and applications, and communications.

Qualifications / Experience / ProfessionalMemberships:
- Degreeor qualifications at further education level preferable
- Aminimum of 1 - 2 years related experience (e.g. Front Desk, Concierge,Hospitality, Room Management, or Customer Service roles) is preferred.
- Experiencein facilities management and/or dealing with suppliers/contractors beneficial.
