Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Fit Out Project Manager with a strong background in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) installations to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead specialist fit-out projects within the healthcare sector, managing projects from pre-construction through to completion. The successful candidate will be an all-round project manager, capable of coordinating all aspects of project delivery, including M&E services, fit-out works, subcontractor management, programme delivery, commercial awareness and client liaison.
Experience working within healthcare environments, modular construction or specialist fit-out projects including M&E is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the successful delivery of healthcare fit-out projects from inception through to completion.
- Coordinate all project activities, including M&E installations, fit-out works and finishing trades.
- Develop and maintain project programmes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Lead and manage subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to achieve programme and quality objectives.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, NHS Estates teams and principal contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project budgets, procurement and commercial performance alongside the commercial team.
- Monitor project risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, CDM Regulations, HTM guidance (where applicable) and company procedures.
- Oversee commissioning, testing, snagging and project handover.
- Prepare regular progress reports and attend client and site meetings.
- Build strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders to support future business opportunities.
- Travel throughout the UK as required, including overnight stays where necessary.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Fit Out Project Manager within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) building services.
- Experience delivering projects within healthcare, NHS, modular construction or commercial fit-out environments.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent programme, budget and subcontractor management skills.
- Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Commercial awareness and experience managing project costs.
- SMSTS and CSCS Manager Card (preferred).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Willingness to travel nationwide, with the initial project based in Devon.

Pay: £55,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
