Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at Woolpit Garage in Suffolk. This role is vital in helping us deliver reliable vehicle repairs and MOT services to our valued community, supporting our mission to be the best local MOT center.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance with precision and care.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
- Keep accurate records of work performed.
- Assist in ordering parts and managing inventory.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid UK driving license. Preferred:
- NVQ or equivalent qualification in vehicle maintenance.
- Experience with MOT testing preferred but not essential
