Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team! In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal teams seeking automotive parts and accessories. You will manage parts inventory, assist with order processing, and provide expert advice to help customers find the right components for their needs. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in identifying and selecting the correct parts or accessories
- Maintain accurate inventory records using Microsoft Excel and other management systems
- Process sales orders efficiently via phone, in person, or online, ensuring prompt service
- Communicate clearly with customers, suppliers, and team members to coordinate parts availability and delivery timelines
- Keep the parts department organized by managing stock levels, conducting regular audits, and replenishing supplies as needed
- Provide technical advice on maintenance procedures and compatibility of parts to support customer needs
- Uphold professional phone etiquette when handling inquiries and follow-up calls to ensure excellent customer service standards
Experience
- Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a related maintenance environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory management and reporting tasks is advantageous
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism with phone etiquette and customer interactions
- Knowledge of automotive maintenance processes or technical terminology is a plus but not mandatory
