Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Bartender/Server to join our bustling restaurant and bar, crafting exceptional cocktails, delivering outstanding table service, and creating memorable experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working both behind the bar and on the floor, ensuring high standards of quality, consistency, and guest experience throughout.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve cocktails, CrazyShakes®, and classic shakes to Black Tap's high standards
- Pour craft beers and serve a wide range of other beverages
- Take food and drink orders, deliver them promptly, and provide attentive table service
- Provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service to all guests at the bar and on the floor
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas, including glassware and equipment
- Follow all licensing laws, responsible service of alcohol, and health & safety guidelines
- Manage stock levels, restocking and reporting shortages as needed
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a bar and restaurant environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of cocktail preparation and drink-making techniques
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A warm, engaging personality and a passion for delivering great guest experiences
- Willingness to learn and grow within the team
