Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our busy culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen environment, supporting chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Responsibilities
- Washing, cleaning, and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, including peeling, chopping, and organising ingredients.
- Ensuring the cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas to maintain a safe and organised kitchen environment.
- Supporting the storage of supplies and ingredients in designated areas following health and safety regulations.
- Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently and responsibly.
- Supporting chefs during busy service periods by providing necessary assistance as required.
- Adhering to all health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided for suitable candidates eager to learn.
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, or hospitality operations is beneficial.
- Experience serving customers or working within a hospitality setting can enhance your understanding of service standards.

Pay: £12.21-£17.90 per hour
