Summary
We are seeking a Hygiene Team Leader to join our team in Goole on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is vital in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and safety across our manufacturing facilities. You will contribute to our mission of delivering top-quality products while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate hygiene activities within the manufacturing site.
- Supervise hygiene team members to ensure adherence to safety and cleanliness protocols.
- Implement cleaning schedules and monitor their effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and organic manufacturing regulations.
- Train staff on hygiene procedures and best practices.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to uphold product integrity.
- Maintain hygiene equipment and tools, including hand tools and power tools.
- Document hygiene activities and report on performance metrics.
- Securing the site each day.
- Chemical Management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a hygiene or sanitation leadership role within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Knowledge of food safety standards such as BRC or similar certifications.
- Ability to manage a team effectively.
- Familiarity with hygiene tools including hand tools and power tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to train staff on hygiene practices.
- Preferred: experience with organic manufacturing standards.

Pay: £15.20-£16.00 per hour
