Shift Pattern: Days Only ¦ 4 on, 4 off ¦ 6:00am - 6:00pm
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Telford Extrusion & Compounding (TE&C), part of the Epwin Group's Window Systems Division, is looking to recruit a Tool Servicing Operator to join our manufacturing team based at Stafford Park, Telford.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and growing business that supplies high-quality extrusion products to the UK's building products market.
About the Role
As a Tool Servicing Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and preparing extrusion tooling to ensure optimum machine performance and product quality. Working closely with production and engineering teams, you will play a key role in supporting efficient manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities

Clean, service and maintain extrusion tooling to required standards.

Inspect tooling for wear and damage, reporting any issues identified.

Prepare tooling for production changeovers.

Assist with tool repairs and minor maintenance activities.

Ensure tooling records and maintenance documentation are completed accurately.

Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the tool servicing area.

Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.

Support continuous improvement activities within the department.
About You
The successful candidate will:

Have previous manufacturing, engineering or tool maintenance experience.

Possess strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.

Be capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Have good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.

Be reliable, flexible and committed to maintaining high standards.

Have a proactive approach to problem solving.
Experience within extrusion, plastics manufacturing or a tooling environment would be advantageous but is not essential as training will be provided.
