Carter Group are recruiting a multi skilled experienced Fire & Security Engineer to perform routine maintenance and reactive visits across North / West London areas. Disciplines include; Fire Alarm, CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control and Gates. Types of systems are; Advance Apollo, HyFire, Paxton, Gallagher, Came, Texecom, ATS, Scantronic, Visonic, Risco, Hikvision, IDIS, Axis and Wisenet.
We set high standards of quality customer service and operate a yearly engineer training program for continued professional development. We also have an in-house technical engineer support to develop skills, knowledge, experience and behaviors to achieve the highest standards.
The role will involve;
· Attending preventative maintenance, reactive calls and small works for Intruder, Fire, Access and CCTV Systems.
· Fault investigations providing first time fix solutions
· On call rota based on additional £175 per week
· Delivering a first-class customer service to all customers
· Excellent teamwork ethic, working closely with team members.
Reporting to the Service Manager, the role may also include other duties as deemed acceptable by your line manager. As a growing company with an excellent motivated team we are always looking at opportunity for development of roles and responsibilities.
Internal training provided on systems used and company procedures.
· Contract: Permanent
· Hours: Full-time office based, Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30
· Probation Period: 3 months
· Holiday: 25 days + Bank Holidays (3 days to be taken between Christmas and New Year shutdown subject to change)
· Pension: Statutory
· Salary: based on experience + standby rate and overtime as required

Person requirements
Previous Work Experience:
At least 2 years’ experience as an accomplished multi-disciplined Fire & Security Engineer
Technical background in the electrical / electronic industry
Flexible to travel and on-call rota
Personal skills/behaviors/qualities:
Organised, proactive, and detail-focused on compliance
Excellent communication skill
Team player

Full UK driving license subject to 6 monthly checks – mandatory
Pay: £26,500.00-£36,500.00 per year
