High-End Carpenter Wanted – Long-Term Work
Hodgson Group Ltd is looking for an experienced high-end carpenter to work across extensions, loft conversions and residential refurbishment projects.
The main focus will be high-quality 2nd fix and finishing carpentry, but you must also be confident carrying out studwork, boxing-in and general carpentry tasks when required.
The work will include:
- Installing pocket door systems
- Hanging internal and external doors
- Fitting kitchens and utility rooms
- Skirting boards and architraves
- Door linings, frames and ironmongery
- Wall panelling and feature joinery ( when needed )
- Built-in cupboards and bespoke finishing work
- Timber stud walls, partitions and openings
- Boxing-in pipes and forming service enclosures
- General 1st fix and building-related carpentry
- Working from drawings and site instructions
You must have:
- Strong experience in high-end 2nd fix carpentry
- Experience fitting kitchens, doors and pocket door systems
- The ability to build accurate stud walls and partitions
- Good general building knowledge
- Your own van and full set of professional tools ( company van may be available )
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A reliable, professional approach
- Good communication with site managers and clients
- CSCS card preferred
