About You
You will need to be a self motivated and driven person, with an understanding of various types of soft landscaping or willing to learn and pick it up fast! An eye for detail and an ability to work to the highest of standards are essential. Working in the commercial landscaping sector is a physically demanding job, you must be able to keep up with the fast pace this role requires. An understanding of Health & Safety is necessary and you need to be willing to undertake company training as required.
Skills and Experience Required for this role
- Experience in various types of soft landscaping
- A full UK driving licence is essential
- CSCS Card is essential
- A willingness to learn and a can do attitude is a must

Job Summary
As a landscape operative, you will report to your team leader every morning. The day will start by loading tools, equipment and materials needed for the days work ahead. You will travel to site in the work vehicle alongside your team leader. Jobs will entail the use of various hand and power tools to carry out tasks such as turfing, shrub planting and tree planting. At all times you will work in a diligent manner following instructions from your team leader. All aspects of H&S will be adhered to and a polite and courteous manner will be shown to all clients and colleagues. At the end of the day, you will return to the company premises where your vehicle will be unloaded and tidied for the following day. The position is physically demanding but does come with the added benefit of working alongside great people and everything good that comes with working in the great outdoors!
