Job Description:
Are you reliable, hardworking and looking to join a friendly countryside venue? We’re looking for a General Kitchen Assistant to join our team at The Durham Ox Shrewley.

We are a small independent pub and hotel group with venues across the West Midlands.
Our goal is to ensure our customers are welcomed by stylish and comfortable surroundings with an informal and easy-going atmosphere allowing our guests to truly relax and be themselves.
The Role
This is a flexible role available on a part-time or full-time basis, offering a great opportunity to become part of a supportive and welcoming team in a busy rural setting.
About the Role
This role would suit a reliable individual who is eager to develop their experience in the food and hospitality industry.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Kitchen porter duties
- Washing up and maintaining cleanliness of kitchen equipment
- Assisting with basic kitchen tasks as required
- General cleaning to maintain high hygiene standards
- Supporting the team with ad-hoc duties as needed
- Occasional front of house support, including glass collecting and cleaning
This is a hands-on position that is essential to keeping our kitchen and venue running smoothly.
