We’re looking for a kind, experienced and confident Waking Senior Night Carer to join our friendly team at The Clough.
This is a really important role within the home, supporting our residents through the night and leading the team on shift. If you’re someone who stays calm under pressure, cares deeply about people, and enjoys leading by example, we’d love to hear from you.
What the role involves:
- Supporting residents with compassionate, person-centred care throughout the night
- Carrying out regular checks and responding calmly to any situations that arise
- Leading and supporting the night team, making sure everyone knows their role
- Safely administering medication
- Keeping clear and accurate records and handovers
- Ensuring high standards of health, safety and infection control are always followed
What we’re looking for:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
- Previous experience in a senior care role
- Confidence with medication administration
- A caring, patient and reassuring nature
- Someone reliable, organised and able to lead a team
It would be a bonus if you have experience in dementia care or have worked night shifts before – but it’s not essential.
