We're looking for an Assistant Bar Manager to join us in our bar in Clifton. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an experienced and vibrant team.
The Role
As Assistant Bar Manager, you’ll work closely with the Bar Manager to deliver excellent service, support the team, and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the venue. You’ll lead by example on the floor, support staff training, and play a key role in maintaining high standards of hospitality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Bar Manager in the daily operation of the bar
- Leading shifts and ensuring smooth service
- Training, motivating, and supervising bar staff
- Assisting with stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Upholding licensing, health & safety, and hygiene standards
- Helping to create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff alike
About You
- Previous bar supervisory/management experience
- A passion for hospitality, cocktails, craft drinks, and customer experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Organised, reliable, and proactive under pressure
- Flexible and available to work evenings and weekends
