Hours of Work – Full Time - Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm
Location – Aston Down, Stroud (GL6 8HR) (and cover at other Gloucestershire sites when needed)
Do you have some Warehouse experience and enjoy working in a face paced environment? Do you have good attention to detail skills and enjoy getting things right for the customers? If so…..we have an opportunity for a WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE to join our small and friendly team in Aston Down, Stroud.
Secure Data Management specialises in providing offsite storage services to some of the UK’s well-known brands. We operate 5 main warehouses within Gloucestershire, Kent and Central London and have over 30 years’ experience delivering a premium storage service to UK businesses. We work tirelessly to exceed our customers’ expectations and have a real drive to keep improving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving goods that come into the Warehouse which are dispatched by other warehouses or customers, doing this accurately by counting stock items and recording on a computer/manually.
- Taking paperwork for any deliveries, and making sure the information is correct and you have the right amount of goods by using a check list provided.
- Being able to identify labels, and information on the goods to see if there are any requirements.
- Checking picking to make sure that they were ordered/picked correctly.
- Preparing for any deliveries due, large or small making sure the space is there.
- To accurately be able to put goods on racks/shelves in the correct places and in order.
- Safely operate any equipment used in the warehouse, pump trucks/forklifts.
- Examine deliveries that arrive, take note of what is there, report any damaged goods, using a handheld scanner.
- Being able to work from picking lists sent to the handheld device, picking things correctly.
- Being able to load and unload trucks at ground level or using tail lifts/forklifts and pump trucks.
- Being able to maintain a clean and tidy warehouse.
Applicants should note that this role is physically demanding and involves frequent lifting of heavy boxes.
Experience & Attributes needed:
- Experience of working within a busy warehouse environment
- Experience of using a handheld scanner
- Strong communication skills - must be fluent in English
- Attention to detail and accuracy skills.
- Driving Licence and Own Transport essential due to the remote area of our Aston site. You may also be asked to work from our other warehouse sites on occasion, which are based at Kemble, Gloucestershire.
- Fork Lift Licence preferred, but not essential.

Pay: £27,269.00-£27,469.00 per year
