Forklift Driver – Bonnybridge Depot
We are currently seeking a reliable and hard-working Forklift Driver to join our team at our Bonnybridge Depot. This is a full-time, permanent position.
As part of our depot-based operations team, you will play a key role in supporting our welfare fleet operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for general yard duties, operating a B1 category forklift, and managing on-hires and off-hires, including the completion of all relevant paperwork and updating daily log sheets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate B1 category forklift safely and efficiently
- General yard work including asset preparation and cleaning
- Carry out on-hire and off-hire inspections
- Complete and maintain accurate paperwork and daily log sheets
- Load and manoeuvre vehicles and assets
- Identify and report damage to Head Office
- Maintain workshop and yard cleanliness
- Perform pre-hire checks
- Occasional driving/towing for holiday cover
Skills & Requirements:
- Valid B1 forklift training/certification
- Full clean driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in the waste or plant hire industry is an advantage
