Job Summary

Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, mowing, and garden care to create beautiful outdoor spaces.
- Operate and maintain a variety of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment including excavators and irrigation systems.
- Support construction activities by preparing sites, mixing materials, and performing foundational tasks under supervision.
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to execute projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and project timelines.
- Perform general site cleanup, material handling, and organization of work areas to maintain a safe and productive environment.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment or irrigation systems as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, landscaping, or related manual labour roles with a strong understanding of horticulture and gardening principles.
- Hands-on experience with landscape maintenance techniques and horticultural practices.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators or irrigation systems.
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting basic equipment issues and performing routine maintenance.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while working independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding manual tasks in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred; experience operating heavy machinery like excavators is a plus.
