What you'll do:
Transfer goods from storage pallets to corresponding stock location.
Stock rotation, applying the first in first out method. Items closer to their expiry date at the front.
Inventory tracking. Counting stock levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
Delivery handling, Unloading incoming shipments and checking the goods against the delivery notes.
General housekeeping. Disposing of packaging and breakages and ensuring warehouses are clean, tidy and safe.
The typical hours would be Monday to Friday, 8-5 but you must be flexible as you will be required to finish later during busy periods and work the occasional Saturday. You must also be available to work over the Christmas and Easter holidays.
What you'll need:
A counterbalance/forklift truck licence essential.
Be able to follow instruction.
You'll need to be flexible around working hours during busy periods.
This role is physically demanding and involves lifting.
A full uk driving licence is essential.
