Brue Valley Farms is a family-owned artisan dairy business producing award-winning butter and cow’s milk mozzarella from the heart of Somerset. Combining generations of dairy expertise with modern production methods, we supply high-quality retailers and independent outlets across the UK.
We're looking for an experienced Production Operator with leadership potential, a proactive attitude, and a desire to learn and grow within the business.
The Role
This is a hands-on role in a busy production environment where you'll play a key part in ensuring our products are manufactured, packed, and dispatched to the highest standards. You'll be expected to take ownership of your work, support colleagues, and help drive production efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring production and packaging machinery
- Leading by example and supporting team members on the production line
- Packing and preparing products for dispatch
- Maintaining quality, food safety, and hygiene standards
- Assisting with equipment checks, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Contributing to the achievement of daily production targets
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in dairy manufacturing, or food production environment
- Leadership qualities and the confidence to take initiative
- A strong work ethic and positive, can-do attitude
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- A willingness to learn new skills and develop within the business
