Job Title: Picker/packer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Picker/packer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing items for shipping by ensuring they are properly picked and packed and ready for shipping. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our stockroom. You will float between picking and packing as and when required . Accuracy and concentration are key to this role.
Duties:
- Perform packing duties such as picking, packing, and labelling items according to company standards
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure all items are packed correctly and meet quality standards
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments, ensuring accuracy and safety
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to facilitate efficient packing processes
- Collaborate with team leader and members to prioritise tasks and meet shipping deadlines
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues with packing equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with packing
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures
- Excellent skills in picking, packing, and stock management

Week 2 same as above but with an early finish Friday at 1.10pm.
